Spring 2026 Housing at ³ÉÈË´óƬ– What You Need to Know

Please review all of the information carefully as demand for on-campus bed space is high. Below is information to consider before to submitting a Spring Only 2026 Housing Contract.

Housing and Residence Life has a desire to house any student who wishes to live on campus but will be prioritizing the placement of first-year students before finalizing placements of upper-class students.

When bed space demand is higher than bed space availability, the University may utilize a Standby List process to assign bed space that may open up through contract cancellations.

Note: Current residents with an existing Fall 2025-Spring 2026 Housing Contract, do NOT need to submit a Spring Only 2026 Housing Contract.

Contract Opens:

September 15, 2025 in the myHousing portal

Who Can Submit A Contract:

Any admitted ³ÉÈË´óƬstudent who plans to register for Spring 2026 classes and wants to live on campus.

Steps to Submit A Contract

  1. Go to the
  2. Fully complete the Spring Only 2026 Housing Contract
  3. Pay the $100 non-refundable processing fee

Note: The sooner you submit a contract the better your chances of being assigned a bed space. It’s first come, first served!

Important Notes

  • No guarantees on room type, building, or preferences — they are noted as requests.
  • Contracts will be accepted until December 1, 2025, unless all beds fill up earlier.
  • Check your ³ÉÈË´óƬemail regularly for updates and your housing assignment.

Housing Assignments

The process to ultimately receive a bed assignment is a multiple step process and requires students to take specific required actions.

 

STEP 1 (Required Action by Student):

Fully submit the Spring Only 2026 Housing Contract in , which includes the submission of a one-time non-refundable $100.00 processing fee, as soon as possible.

STEP 2 (Handled by Housing and Residence Life):

There will not be an on-line room selection event for Spring 2026 bed space as Housing and Residence Life will handle the assignment process behind the scenes.

All students will be assigned to partially occupied rooms/suite/apartments as the vast majority of Fall 2025 residents will return for Spring 2026. While Housing and Residence Life will take into account each student’s preferences, assignment to a specific type of accommodation (community, room type, etc.) or assignment to any preference indicated by student are requests only and not guaranteed.

Housing and Residence Life staff will begin making assignments behind the scenes as early as November 7 and will provide an initial assignment update via e-mail to each contracted student in late November.

STEP 3 (Required Action by Assigned Students):

Housing move-in will occur on Monday, January 5, 2026. Each assigned resident will be provided an initial move-in appointment between 9 a.m. and 12 noon on January 5, which will outline the earliest the student will be able to visit Osprey Clubhouse (Building 17) to receive key access.  Final assignment and move-in details, including initial move-in appointment times, will be sent to each assigned student via e-mail the afternoon of December 12. If a student wishes to arrive later than January 5, the process details to move-in late will be provided in the December 12 e-mail communication.

Housing and Residence Life cannot accommodate move-in earlier than January 5, 2026. Visit the for a listing of preferred ³ÉÈË´óƬarea hotels if there is a desire or need to be in the ³ÉÈË´óƬarea prior to your assigned move-in appointment.

The Department of Housing and Residence Life will be open and operating during normal business hours each Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. while the University is open.
