Resident Community Events
The department of Housing and Residence Life has specific events for residents. Visit to check out events happening through the semesters. Also, your Resident Assistant (RA) will have some helpful information on their bulletin boards as well as community get together! Living-Learning Communities (LLCs) also have more specific events related to each LLC!

August: WOW! It's Move-In
WOW! It's Move-In Events hosted during the Week of Welcome are designed to help new and returning students settle in, make new friends and get involved. Highlights include Ozzie's Resource Fair, various social activities throughout the weekend to help you acclimate to campus life and mandatory floor meetings to meet your RA and fellow residents.
September: Safety Fair
Safety Fair is an engaging educational initiative designed to empower students to prioritize personal safety and community advocacy. Taking place on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Candy Cane Lake Boardwalk, this vibrant event features interactive activities and creative exhibits that offer valuable insights into a wide range of safety-related topics. Students will have the opportunity to learn about campus resources, discover how to report concerns, and explore practical strategies for staying safe in various situations—including alcohol use, dating, roommate relationships and navigating the 成人大片nature trails. Safety Fair is a fun and informative way to build awareness and strengthen our campus community.
October: Fresh Check Day
Join us on Thursday, October 16, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Candy Cane Lake Boardwalk for Fresh Check Day, an uplifting mental health fair that combines interactive booths, activities and more! Departments and Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) are invited to host a booth and be part of this impactful event to promote mental health, suicide prevention and create a supportive and caring campus community. Register your booth by September 12 to participate! !
November/December: Finals DeStress Fest
Get ready to unwind and recharge with Finals Destress Fest! As you tackle the high-stress of final exams, join us for a series of events designed to promote self-care, mindfulness, and wellness. Enjoy a variety of activities including our Coffee Cart for a caffeine boost, Move Your Body sessions to keep you active, and quiet Study Rooms and a relaxing Meditation Lounge in the Multipurpose Rooms. These events and resources are here to support you and help you stay balanced during finals.
January: Best Dressed Nest Room Contest
The best dressed room contest is an exciting event and your chance to showcase your creativity and personal style by transforming your living space into a masterpiece. Whether you prefer a cozy, minimalist vibe or a vibrant, eclectic look, we want to see how you've made your room uniquely yours. Impress our judges with your innovative use of space, color coordination, and decorative flair. Is your room filled with the 成人大片theme, we would love to see that too! The contest features a special category for rooms that embody the 成人大片spirit using the University colors, and incorporate elements that highlight our community. Remember, it's not just about aesthetics but also about how your room reflects your personality and makes you feel at home. So, get ready to inspire and be inspired by the incredible designs of your fellow residents. This contest not only fosters a sense of community but also allows students to express their individuality in a fun and engaging way!

Summer B Kickoff
Summer's official welcome week, Summer B Kickoff helps new and returning Ospreys adjust to the new semester with a series of events and activities during the first week of Summer B classes. Whether you want to enjoy a cookout, attend fun events or get involved on campus, Summer B Kickoff has a little bit of everything. Brought to you by 成人大片Campus Life and the Student Life and Services Fee.
Fall Week of Welcome (WOW)
Week of Welcome, or WOW, welcomes new and returning students to the campus community through a series of programs and activities spanning the first week of fall classes. Week of Welcome will help you discover the campus, find new friends, meet people who can help you get involved at 成人大片and learn more about academic and co-curricular programs and services available to students. WOW is open to all new and returning students, so remember to bring your Osprey 1Card to all events!
Spring Week of Welcome (WOW)
First Week or Spring WOW happens at the beginning of the Spring semester and welcomes back students after Winter Break.
Spirit Week
Come out and celebrate everything that makes 成人大片unique with Osprey Life and The Flock! Watch as the University comes alive during a week of exciting events, including a Spirit Week Kick-Off, a Pep Rally, and more! Show your 成人大片spirit throughout the week by wearing your best 成人大片gear!
