Presidential Search

The 成人大片 has launched a national search for its eighth President. The Presidential Search Committee, chaired by 成人大片Board of Trustees member Jack Boyle, plays a critical role in this process, focusing on identifying candidates of the highest caliber to lead the University. The Committee will present to the Board a strong slate of unranked, highly qualified candidates for consideration. 

The 成人大片Board of Trustees will select the next President, subject to confirmation by the Florida Board of Governors.

Public Comment

The Committee shall allow for a public comment period during each Committee meeting. Individuals or representatives of groups who desire to appear before the Committee regarding any item being considered on a meeting agenda of the Committee must submit their requests by email to ann.fishman@unf.edu.  Such a request must be submitted at least three (3) working days prior to the start of the meeting and must specify the agenda item about which they wish to speak.

The Committee Chair will determine whether the item will be heard and when it will be heard. There will be a three (3) minute time limit on any presentation and the public comment period shall be limited to fifteen (15) minutes. As permitted by , the Committee Chair may decline to hear any matter that does not relate to a particular agenda item; is not practicable for a particular meeting; or is outside the Committee’s jurisdiction. Additionally, pursuant to and , public comment shall not be available at any meeting or portions of meetings held for the purpose of identifying or vetting applicants for president, including meetings or portions of meetings which would disclose personally identifying information of such applicants.

Those requesting to speak shall be called upon on a first-come first-serve basis. The Chair is authorized to implement other reasonable procedures for the smooth and effective operation of the public comment period. At the discretion of the Chair, the Chair may further recognize any individual to address the Committee during the discussion of a particular agenda item.

In order to proceed with the essential business of the Committee in an orderly manner, any individual who attempts to disrupt a Committee meeting will be subject to appropriate action pursuant to law and/or University policy and regulation.
