Key Request

- Intellikeys will grant access to only 成人大片Full-Time Employees, 成人大片Part-Time Faculty, 成人大片Student Employees, or OPS Employees.
- Key(s) are issued only to a key holder, and the key holder must sign for the key(s).
- The key holder is responsible for the key(s) and must return the key(s) to the Lock Shop when changing department offices or upon termination of employment with the University.
Key Request Process
- Download "Building and Rooms Document"
This Word doc. is the preferred format when submitting a key request - Link: Buildings and Rooms. Once updated, upload it onto the web form. Note: Other formats submitted will delay your request. - Click Web Form - Start request
- Web Form Covers - New key requests, adding room(s) to an existing key, or lost/stolen keys.
- The submitted form comes to Physical Facilities for processing. Once our PF staff have processed the request, it will then be sent to the department or division's space owner(s) for approval via Outlook email
(No submittals will be located under Workday or myWings.) - Space Owners (Approvers) - Check your email (or junk mail) to approve the request.
- Wait 24/48 hours after submitting your request. Recommend submitting early to avoid any departmental deadlines.
FAQ:
- Lost or Stolen Keys:
1. Report any lost or stolen keys to UPD before submitting a key request.
2. Once reported, UPD will provide a case number.
3. Enter the assigned case number under box #11 within the web form. Failure to submit a case number could void the current key request.
- Double-check with your initial space owner approver(s). After our Physical Facilities team has processed your submittal, the request is then routed to the department or division's space owner for approval. To ensure the space owner has received the request, have them check their email and/or junk mail. Note: If multiple approvers are required, the initial space owner must approve first before it can be rerouted to the next space owner.
- Change in Space Owner(s): If a space owner is no longer in your department or division, reach out to us to update the new space ownership for your area. Email workmanagement@unf.edu and include the new space owner's full name, their N#, and region(s) - bldg./room of coverage. Important: to avoid delays, notify us as soon as possible.
- Once the key request is approved, print the completed approval email. Bring the printed copy and your Osprey ID for verification (Digital copies are not accepted). The Lockshop will finalize your key request.
