成人大片Gallery at MOCA Jacksonville
As part of a dynamic relationship between the 成人大片 and the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville (MOCA), the 成人大片Gallery at MOCA serves as a catalyst for faculty and student creative research and community engagement. This public-facing space provides a professional platform for innovative exhibitions, interdisciplinary inquiry, and collaborative projects that connect the university with the broader Jacksonville community.The gallery exhibits national and international contemporary artists and provides educational programming, lectures, workshops and conferences.
This collaboration expands the efforts of both venues to provide transformational learning opportunities to students and to showcase 成人大片to the larger Jacksonville community. Through curatorial practice, experimental programming, and scholarly exploration, the gallery advances UNF’s commitment to creativity, discovery, and cultural impact in the heart of downtown Jacksonville.
EXHIBITIONS
Jiha Moon: Half Moon
February 28 - August 23, 2026
Jiha Moon (b. 1973, DaeGu, South Korea) is a contemporary visual artist with a multifaceted practice ranging from gestural paintings, ceramic sculptures, and installations. Moon draws from a wide range of influences, including Eastern and Western art histories, Korean temple paintings and folk traditions, popular culture, internet emojis and icons, and product packaging from around the world. She often transforms and distorts these visual languages, making them both unrecognizable and strangely familiar at the same time.
Her work is included in the collections of The Asia Society, The High Museum of Art, The Mint Museum, The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the Renwick Gallery, and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, among others. She joined Florida State University's Art department faculty in the fall of 2023.
She is a 2023 Guggenheim Fellow and a recipient of the Joan Mitchell Foundation's Painters & Sculptors Grant. Her mid-career survey exhibition, Double Welcome: Most Everyone’s Mad Here, organized by the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art and the Taubman Museum, toured more than 15 museums across the U.S.

MJ TORRECAMPO: CUT THE FRUIT
August 29, 2026 - February 28, 2027
MJ Torrecampo’s layered paintings investigate timeless themes such as family, belonging, and cultural identity, by transforming everyday moments into psychologically complex narratives. Born in the Philippines and raised in the United States, Torrecampo explores the tension between the group and the individual in human connection, employing distinctive overhead perspectives to reveal multiple layered narratives. The exhibition title references the term and action “Cut Fruit,” a nonverbal expression of care commonly practiced among Filipino Americans. Presented in conjunction with the Barbara Ritzman Devereux Visiting Artist Workshops at 成人大片(BRD).
MJ Torrecampo (b. 1992, Manila) holds a BFA in Painting with a Minor in Art History from the University of Central Florida, and an MA in Fine Arts from the New York Academy of Art. Based in Orlando, she has exhibited widely, and was a finalist for the 2023 Florida Prize in Contemporary Art from the Orlando Museum of Art.
HOW TO VISIT
MOCA Jacksonville is located in the core of Downtown, at 333 N. Laura Street.
Open Tuesday–Sunday, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.
There is ample parking at the Duval and Monroe street garages. Metered parking spaces around the Museum are also available, which are free after 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and all day during weekends. 成人大片students, faculty, and staff, as well as museum members, receive free 4-hour garage parking at the Duval Street parking garage (excluding special event).
