Dietetic Professional Studies (M.S.) – Fully Online
Online M.S. in Nutrition for Career Advancement and Specialization
The Professional Studies concentration is a distance learning option for those students who wish to emphasize the application of advanced nutrition knowledge to a variety of practice areas. The program is 30 credit hours and is completely online. Full-time and part-time options are available. Applicants must be credentialed registered dietitian nutritionists (RDN’s) or those with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and DPD verification statement from an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
The M.S. Online in Nutrition and Dietetics Professional Studies concentration is a great option for students attending a stand-alone dietetic internship or who wish to pursue a master’s degree before completing their supervised practice.

Admissions Review
Applicants meeting all criteria are typically notified of acceptance upon review*, space permitting. Applications not meeting all criteria may be admitted to the trial program, on a competitive basis and space permitting. -
Tuition
The ³ÉÈË´óƬOnline MS Nutrition distance learning program is approved for non-standard tuition, e.g., market rate or self-supporting tuition. Beginning Fall 2025, ³ÉÈË´óƬis suspending the use of the State Employee Waiver for non-state funded programs, which include the Nutrition and Dietetics: Dietetic Professional Studies, MS, and the Nursing: Post-MSN DNP. Students enrolled prior to Fall 2025 may continue to use the state employee waiver provided they remain continuously enrolled until degree completion.
